RESOLUTION NO. 2002-68
WHEREAS the Town of Taos has adopted its operating budget for the fiscal year ending June 30,
2003, and
WHEREAS the governing body of the Town of Taos, meeting in Regular Session this 17`' day of
December, 2002 wishes to adjust its operating budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved that the governing body of the Town of Taos, meeting in
Regular Session this 17`h day of December, 2002, adopts this budget adjustment and respectfully
requests approval from the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and
Administration to effect this budget adjustment.
Amount
Community Grants Fund
Revenues and Other Sources:
US Department of Transportation Match $ 500,000.00
State Aviation Match $ 200,000.00
In Kind Match from Destination Taos&Angel Fire Resort $ 151,000.00
Additional Cash Match $ 29,000.00
® Interfund Transfer In(Town Match) $ 20,000.00
Expenditures and other Financing Uses:
Air Services Grant
Operating Expenses:
Other Contractual Services $ 900,000.00
Transportation Fund
Revenues and Other Sources:
Unreserved Fund Balance $ 20,000.00
Expenditures and other Financing Uses:
Interfund Transfer Out $ 20,000.00
(To adjust the Community Grants Fund, this Budget Adjustment Request will increase revenue
and expenditure line items and also to adjust the Transportation Fund, this budget adjustment will
decrease revenue and expenditure line items. These budget adjustments are due to Air Services
Grant with the US Department of Transportation Grant Agreement Project No. SCASDPP
11590-113 and State Aviation Grant Agreement No.NMAD 941)

1999 Gasoline Tax Construction Fund
Revenues and Other Sources:
Donations-Los Jardineros Garden Club $ 9,500.00
Expenditures and other Financing Uses:
Operating Expenses:
Field Supplies $ 9,500.00
(To adjust the Community Grants Fund, this Budget Adjustment Request will increase revenues
and expenditures for the beautification project on Juan Largo & Scheurich Lanes.)
Utility Improvement Fund
Revenues and Other Sources:
Due From Other Funds(CDBG Grant) $ 25,000.00
Expenditures and other Financing Uses:
Due to Other Funds(Utility Construction Fund) $ 25,000.00
(Temporary loan from Utility Construction Fund-Water/Wastewater checking account to CDBG
Planning Grant-new checking account to allow for project cash flows. This amount will be
reimbursed from CDBG upon request and repaid to Water/Wastewater checking account.)
