Call to Order Called to order by Candyce O'Donnell at 2:03 pm. 11. Roll Call Roll call taken by County Clerk,Valerie Rael-Montoya Present were: Vice-Chair Darlene J. Vigil,District III Commissioner AnJanette Brush,District IV Chair Candyce O'Donnell,District V Commissioner Mark Gallegos,District II—Absent for roll call arrived at 2:19 p.m. Absent: Commissioner Jim Fambro,District I Roll call for the Town of Taos by Valerie Montoya,County Clerk Present were: Mayor Daniel Barrone Mayor Pro Tern Nathaniel Evans Councilmember Fritz Hahn Councilmember Pascualito Maestas Absent: Councilmember Darien Fernandez III. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Lawrence Medina. October 7,2021 Joint Meeting IV. Approval ofAgenda Vice-Chair Darlene Vigil made a motion to approve the October 7, 2021 Joint Meeting Agenda as presented. Commissioner AnJanette Brush seconded. A roll call vote was taken indicating the following: Commissioner AnJanette Brush Yes Vice-Chair Darlene Vigil Yes Chair Candyce O'Donnell Yes Commissioner Jim Fambro Absent Commissioner Mark Gallegos Absent Motion carried. Councilor Nathaniel Evans made a motion to approve the October 7, 2021 Joint Meeting Agenda as presented. Councilor Fritz Hahn seconded. A roll call vote was taken indicating the following: Councilmember Nathaniel Evans Yes Councilmember Fritz Hahn Yes Councilmember Pascualito Maestas Yes Councilmember Darien Fernandez Absent Motion carried. V. Topics For Discussion A. Discussion regarding Affordable Housing Initiatives of both the Town of Taos and Taos County B. Discussion regarding American Rescue plan Act Funding Initiatives of both the Town of Taos and Taos County C. Discussion regarding update on the property exchange between the Town of Taos and Taos County D. Discussion regarding future Joint Meeting dates between the Town of Taos and Taos County. Commissioner AnJanette Brush asked if the Town and County could go back to meeting the last Thursday of every month at 2pm. Nathaniel Evans said he would like to have the meetings at 3 pm instead. The suggestion was the last Thursday of October and then set the next meeting dates thereafter. The managers will be coordinating the agenda and meeting dates. VI. Adiournment Chair Candyce O'Donnell and Mayor Dan Barrone adjourned the joint meeting at 3:40 p.m. All in favor. Approved this 26th day of October, 2021, by the Town of Taos Council at the Regular Town Council Meeting.
