AN ORDINANG'E REGULATING THE DUMPING IN THE TOWN DUMP AND PROVIDING �r
A PENALTY FCR V I0IA TION TNEREW t
BE IT ORDAINED, By the Mayor and the Council of the TDwn of Taos,
that
WHERFAS, It is essential for the public health and safety that
proper dumping procedures be followed in the disposing of garbage in

the Town Dump Ground, It is hereby Ordained that certain areas in the
dump be from tine to tine designated as the proper places to dispose
garbage, and
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That dumping will be allowed only on

certain days of the week, and further that a fee be charged to pro— '
vide funds for regulating the dumping, and that notice in a Newspaper
of general circulation be given in advance as to the fees and days of
dumping
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED, That a penalty of up to $25.00 be imposed
on anyone violating the provisions of this Ordinance as designated in {

the published notices.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Taos,
New Mexico and approved by the Mayor on this day of January,
