AN ORDINANCE REGULATINGs RESTRAINING AND PRO- RIBITINa THE RUNNING AT LARGE 'WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF TAGS, NEW MEXICO, OF HORSES, CATTLE, BURROS, SWINE;; SHEEP AND GOATS, AND PROVID- ING FOR THE IMPOUNDINGs SELLING OR DESTRUCTION BHEREOI? BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOXIN OF TA.OSj NEW MEX100 E SECTION 1. Animals,, Not A& Run ate. That from and after the lath day of January, 15+51, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to permit any horses, oattle, mules, burros, swine, sheep or gosts, to run at s large within the corporr-.to limits of the Town of Taoe, as suclL lim- i to now exist, or may hereafter be extended, altered or changed. SECTION 2. ImooundIDZ- That it shall be the duty of any KarshF-11, Con- stable, or other Peace Officer of the Town of Taos, or the ?ound- keeper, to sieze any such animal, or animals, so running; at 1P rf;e within the corporate limits of the Town of Taos, and turn the s&me t. over to 'the Town ?oundkeeper, for impounding, sale or destruction, as hereine i'ter provided. SECTION 3. Redemotion by Owner. Such Pound-keeper shall be rosponsible for the proper and humane ogre of such animals while im- pounded, and the humane killing thereof, when the us•me Pro ordered killed by the Mayor. Per Diem Pound Costs.
