Be it ordained by the Mayor and the Council of the Town of Taos that, WEMMS, The keeping of an excessive number of oats and of the allowing t, em to roam at large in the neighborhood of the owner is likely to cause property damage to the property of neighbors, wind, WWF'�A.S, cata are likely to cause noise and disturbance to others, IT I3 BMWY Ordained by the Mayor and the Council of the Town of Taos that the keeping of an excessive number of cats by any person where it is shown that they are allowed to roam at large in the neighborhood and to cause damage to the property of others and thC-keeping of cats which causer considerable noise to the annoyance and discomfort of the surround- ing neighbors so that their rest is broken and their sleep interrupted, and, further where the reasonable use and enjoyment of their property is disturbed, shall and is hereby 6eclared to create a nuisance punishable by a fire of not to exceed One Hundred Dollar.,Y. It is further ordained that the Town shall have the right to order them destroyed after ten days notice to the owner unless said nuisance is abated within said time.
