ORDINANCE No. 532
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE WEST SIDE OF
NORTH PUEBLO ROAD AND FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SAME WITH U. S. #64 TO MARTYR'S
LANE AND ON THE EAST SIDE OF SOUTH PUEBLO ROAD FROM THE INTERSECTION OF U. S.
#64 AND N. M. #3 TO QUESNEL PLACE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TAOS, NEW
MEXICO, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle of
any kind at any time on the West side of North Pueblo Road from the Inter-
section of N. M. State Highway No. 3 and U. S. Highway No. 64 to Martyr's
Lane.
SECTIO14 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle
of any kind at any time on the East side of South Pueblo Road from the Inter-
section of U. S. No. 61+ and N. M. No. 3 to Quesnel Place.
SECTION 3. Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction of such offense, be
punished by a fine of not less than $1.00 nor more than $10.00 or by imprison-
ment of not more than five days in the County jail, or by both such fine and
imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.
SECTION 4. In the event that any section or part of this ordinance
shall at any time be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the re-
mainder thereof which portion shall therefore remain in full force and ^ffect.
SECTION 5. Any Ordinance, or parts of Ordinances, in conflict herewith,
are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TAOS,
NEW MEXICO, and approved by the Mayor on this the 1st day of June , 1964.
