An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. .S"s, �... known as the
Zoning Ordiance, and changing the designation from Residential
Medium to Neighborhood Commercial in that area lying in the
northeastern portion of the Twon of Taos along N. M. State
Highway #3 and north of the existing Neighborhood Commercial
Zone on North Pueblo Road.
WHEREAS, it would serve the public' s interest to make a
change in designation on the zoning of that area lying on the
Northeastern portion of the Town of Taos and along N. M. State
Highway #3,
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the
Town of Taos that the designation of the hereinafter described land
be and is hereby changed from Residential Medium to Neighborhood
Commerical ana that the land affected is described as follows :
Beginning at the S.E. Corner of Tract 30, Map 9, Survey
2 (1941 Ta,)s County Reassessment Survey)
Thence, N.E. along the West side of the Taos Pueblo Road
to the South boundary of the Taos Pueblo Grant;
Thence, N 290 07 ' West, to the east boundary of the Rio
Pueblo;
Thence following said Rio southwesterly to the intersection
of said Rio with the present corporate boundary of the
Town of Taos;
Thence, easterly, following said boundary to the produced
intersection of t:ie boundary line with the south boundary
of P.C. 213, P. 1, Taos Pueblo Grant Survey;
Thence, southeasterly on the South boundary of said P.C.
to Corner No. 6, which point is identical with the place
and point of beginning.
2 . This Ordinance amends Ordinance No. �j �, the Zoning
Ordinance .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town
