ORDINANCE NO. 552 A
�! BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF i
!; TAOS that,
�l WHEREAS, there is need for the establishment of a Taos
Area Planning Commission for the purpose of planning for the areal
j
wide developement of community facilities, and,
it
WHEREAS, it is required by various governmental agencies
!
�i that such a committee be implemented so that the whole area shall
' be represented,
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED that a planning commission be ►
and the same is hereby established and it is further ordained
that said commission is to be composed of and have a representa- j
�j tion from the following communities in Taos County, New Mexico,
i to wit : The Town of Taos, El Prado, Ranchos de Taos, Canon,
i
Talpa, Taos Pueblo, Ranchitos, Llano Quemado, Los Cordovas and
i
Cordillera. j

► IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED that representatives from non-in- j
f
�j corporated areas shall have no voting power, and the only voting
'j
power which they can excercise will be through the Taos County ;
Commissioners who will be their legal representative.
