AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXCLUSIVE ENFORCEMENT OVER
PERMITS WITHIN THE TOWN OF TAOS AND AN AREA EXTENDING THREE
MILES FRCK THE BOUNDARIES OF RAID MUNICIPALITY
BE IT ORDAINMD by the Mayor and the Council of
the Town of Taos that the Town of Taos shall have the .exclusive
power to issue and enforce building and construction permits
within the Town of Taos and over an area -extending three miles
from the exterior boundaries of the Town of Taos. This Ordinance
shall not apply to construction specifically exempted by the
Construction Industries Licensing Act or regulations adopted
pursuant thereto, nor to territory outside the municipality
should the Board of County Commissioners of Taos County prescribe
by Ordinance standards for the constructing and altering of
buildings within the three mile area.
