AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 560
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND REGULATING THE
COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF REFUSE; VESTING IN
THE TOWN OF TAGS OR ITS DESIGNEE THE EXCLUSIVE
RIGHT TO GATHER AND COLLECT REFUSE WITHIN SAID
TOWN; ASSESSING AND COLLECTING THE FEES THERE-
FOR; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HERE-
OF AND FOR FAILURE TO PAY FEES; AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL 0£ THE TOWN OF THOS, NEW MEXICO, that Ordinance
No. 560, be amended to include the following paragraph:
Every owner or occupants of any premises, be it public,
residential or commercial, shckll provide properly constructed
refuse container racks to preven-L. spillage of garbage cans or

secure said cans in such a manner so that animals cannot tip
said cans over.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND AMENDED this 13th day of July, 1977.

FOR; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HERE-
OF AND FOR FAILURE TO PAY FEES; AND REPEALING

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TAOS, NEW MEXICO, that Ordinance
