IN PUBLIC OCCUPANCIES 1976, ORDINANCE N0. 658.

N O T I C E
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting will be held by the Town Council of
the Town of Taos, in the Taos Town Hall, Armory Street, Taos, New Mexico, on
Wednesday, August 15, 1979, at 7:30 P.M. At the meeting the Town Council of
the Town of Taos will consider final action on the adoption of the following
three (3) Ordinances entitled:
1. AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE
LIQUIDS CODE 1969, ORDINANCE NO. 656.
2. AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE FGAbIMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE
LIQUID TANK VEHICLES 1971, ORDINANCE-NO. 657.
3. AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE NEW MEXICO STATE RULES AND
REGULATIONS RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION AND LIFE SAFETY
IN PUBLIC OCCUPANCIES 1978, ORDINANCE N0. 658.
The subject matter of the Ordinances is the adoption of the Flammable and
Combustible Liquids Code and the adoption of the Rules and Regulations relating
to Fire Prevention and Life Safety in Public Occupancies.
The only changes in the Codes to be adopted are 'contained in the Fire Pre-
vention and Life Safety Code, adding Chaper 18 providing for penalties, continu-
ing offense, authorities right to close business and notice required.
Complete copies of these proposed Ordinances are on file in the office of
the Town Clerk, Municipal Offices (on Armory Street) in Taos, New Mexico, and
are available during the normal and regular business hours of the Town Clerk
upon request and payment of a reasonable charge.
