I. Meeting called to order
Chairman David Trujillo at 10:10 a.m.
II. Roll Call: Chairman/Taos City Chief of Police David Trujillo, TCD Director Dominic Martinez,
Supervisor E911 TCD Laurie Weathers,Taos Pueblo Officer Celedon Gallegos, Under Sheriff Steve
Miera, Questa Fire Department Mark Ortega, Taos County Fire Chief Mike Cordova, and Taos
Pueblo DPS Administrative Assistant Elena Tafoya

VII. Director's Report
a. Please refer all questions or request pertaining to Spillman (or anything else)to Laurie
Weathers or Dominic Martinez.This is in reference to the miss communication or miss
information with VPN access.
b. Taos Central Dispatch will have two more positons available. Dominic is concerned with
the applicants that are applying. He believes that starting pay is low,therefore people
with experience are not applying.TCD is asking for the Board's support to see how they
can higher the starting pay and get a classification program and also asking support from
the board for when Dominic and Laurie approach the commission. Dominic and Laurie
will work on ideas for pay increases and will bring forward to the August E911 meeting.
APON c. The Bylaws need to getup dated, they are not intact with the JPA.

Chairman-suggested a couple of workshops to make changes or to apply what need for
the Bylaws to be made current. Workshop to take place on the August 8, 2018 at 8:30
a.m. right before the next E911 Meeting.
